"We stayed here July 15-17 on our way through Muskoka area to visit a friend who lives 2 hours past North Bay.
The day we arrived was when there were air warnings due to the fires out west so we had to stay in our room, which was enormous!! I think it used to apartments at one time, the way the floor plan is set up - very spacious!!
- You walk into a kitchen with most basic necessities to prepare easy meals or heat up things in a microwave. Full size fridge was very handy.
- If you don’t feel like cooking there are all the basic restaurants 5-10 minutes drive away as well as grocery stores, Dollarama, Timmies etc…
- The sofa in the livingroom wasn’t the most comfortable but we didn’t sit on it very much.
- We had 2 queen beds with lots of pillows and they were all very comfortable.
- The kitchen window looked out onto the inground pool which we could go into the 2nd day when the weather warning for smoke was lifted. The pool was lovely and we took out a picnic lunch I had prepared and ate it out there on tables and chairs provided.
- The pool was spotlessly clean!! 👍
- The balcony off the livingroom faced the lake and it was a lovely view!! We walked around quite a bit - they have several canoes you can use, some picnic tables, and a children’s playground area with climbers, swings etc…
- They have a BBQ area with 3 BBQ’s you can use but we didn’t have time to try them out.
- Staff was VERY helpful and we would definitely stay here again if in this area!! 😊"
