"Air conditioner had horrible ammonia smell"

"My stay at the Courtyard was a nice and quiet experience. It is easy to access off of the 5 freeway and has plenty of parking. Check-in was easy and efficient. The lobby is spacious, with a bar and eating area with seating. The room was a 1 bedroom with 2 Queen beds overlooking the pool. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom had plenty of room and towels. I will definitely be staying here again."

"staff was great, property looked like possible reno or soft reno in progress (boxes in parking lot) tv didnt work at all, the wifi didn't work, the ac was a joke, only hot humid air came out which was not condusive for preparing for the event I was attending. Bed was fine, water pressure was great. It appears that they are trying, I would stay again, and more that likely will. Breakfast was really nice, well stocked"

"The initial room we were offered smelled strongly of mildew. We went back to the front desk and requested another room, which was provided, and when we opened that one it was exactly the same. We notified the front desk we were going to have to seek another hotel, and left. When we subsequently requested a refund through Expedia, the hotel declined saying that we had not let them know we were leaving. Do not recommend. Initial experience was bad, and even given the opportunity make it good,...

"Good: Checked in at 10 pm. Staffer was quick and efficient. Bedding acceptable Bad: Kitchen was completely empty of everything except 2 Ice trays and trashcan. No cups, glasses or other items. Logging in to the "Free" wifi required purchasing a plan. Free breakfast was non-existent, only coffee and 2 fruit bars in a basket. One of the two Carafes was empty. No shower amenities provided. No hair dryer. Will not return."
