Very friendly and helpful hosts. Motel nice but in need of a bit of R and M which the Landlord needs to do to back up the great PR of the hosts. Would stay there again due to the hosts being so welcoming and helpful.

Very near to great restaurants with the ocean right there. Rooms are small and no microwave but that was alright I only like one because my tea/coffee always goes cold on me. And not much towel hanging area. But! It has a bar, pool table and good food. Good parking too. Overall a good place.

Easy to find, good parking, warm & clean, 1960's style so quite out dated, bathroom although clean was extremely small, had to get in the shower to turn it on, and then out of the shower and wait for it to heat up, a large step difficult for the elderly. Slightly overpriced for an out dated unit.

With affordable accommodation in Christchurch effectively booked out, we looked further afield and found this gem. The owners/managers we met were extremely polite, happy, and genuine. Access to Christchurch was easy 20 minutes away. Rangiora is a small attractive community which on its own is worth exploring. Do not waste your time searching for accommodation in Christchurch - book yourself a room here.

Cleanest motel I've stayed in. Even though the rooms seem dated, the shower looked like new; no soapscum or calcium on the doors or floor. Very comfortable room with SKYtv. Rooms were serviced each day.

The motel is located on the main street into Rangiora but the traffic drops to almost nothing at night. The units towards the back are very quiet. The place is older and a bit tired but clean and tidy. The main lights are fluorescents which are not pleasant and really should be updated. We enjoyed the rear balcony which gets lots of sun. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. The studios do not have anything more than coffee and tea making equipment. There was a misunderstanding between Hotels booking and the Motel as to breakfast being included as our booking said it was. The Hosts honoured this and provided a decent continental breakfast. Since we had provisioned food we were moved to a one bedroom unit which has a small kitchen.
