"We really enjoyed our stay at the Grand Lodge Traverse condo. The pet-friendly setup and free shuttle into town were huge perks. The condo was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed, including pots and pans, dishes, a toaster, microwave, dishwasher, and even two coffee makers. Some of those weren’t listed, so that was a nice surprise. "I stayed at this hotel 5 years ago, in the exact same room. Not much had changed, except owners. Great location if you have a dog with you as you are only a block from Pioneer Park and quiet neighborhoods. Front desk staff was extremely helpful. The only complaint was the condition of the tub. It was not very clean; the bathroom was overall clean, good towels, but I'm a stickler for a clean showering area. Maybe the tub needs to be reglazed. Very reasonable price."

"The cleaning crew did a great job--our room was always clean and neat. The check in person was disrespectful and short tempered with the female person when we checked in. However, the front desk person was polite and courteous to the male person in the party upon check out. BTW the female person was the person who paid for the room. Breakfast was adequate but simple. The walls are thinning and you could hear other patrons most of the time in our room."
