"Summer Dream was the best hotel we could ask for. It was extremely modern, great view, and the town of Rethymno has a wonderful downtown area. If you go, I recommend Achinos, I believe it is spelled. The best food we had in Greece. Summer dream is also located next to many markets including SKYNKA, which is walking distance. I would absolutely recommend staying here. It was the best part of our trip in Crete. "

"We were very happy with our stay at Zeus Ydoria Resort! The location was great—just outside Rethymno and only a two-minute walk to the long, beautiful beach. The hotel’s reception and dining areas were newly renovated, giving a luxurious feel. Some older sections could use a refresh but were always clean and didn’t bother us. "If you want to relax and enjoy the beach then this place is perfect. We enjoyed having a kitchenette so that when we wanted a little break from the beach, we could quickly go back to our room and have a snack. The staff always ensured that our room was clean and if we needed anything then they were able to assist us (ex. Calling a taxi or printing a voucher). "
