"It's in an older building that has been beautifully renovated into small apartments. The location is great! Right in the center of the old town. Easily walkable to restaurants and shopping. "We loved our stay here. We had a junior suite which offered plenty of room, the kitchenette was very well stocked and the room itself was clean and comfortable. We ordered the breakfast several days and it was delicious! So much food we ended up using some for lunch and dinner another day! The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect! Close to a couple of bus stops and all the shops and restaurants you could want. We will definitely be staying here again in the future!"

"Just had a 3-night stay at ION City. Staffs were all friendly and amazing. Location is in the core downtown tourism area of reykjavic so that could be pro or cons depending on what you like. It's a little bit loud outside especially if the room is towards the street, but window is reasonably sound-proof. One issue was that when I first arrived there were a few blood drops in the bath towels, but after I raised that issue the room service was all good for the rest of the stay. Overall 4/5. "

"A very nice, new hotel that is part of/above a bar/restaurant. I just want to point out that there was no noise from the bar that I could hear (I was on the 4th floor). Aside from jarring elevator rides, I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It was almost new, I had a balcony and it was close to almost anything I wanted to do. "The hotel had the most wonderful location. It was just off the main downtown road and everywhere one wanted to be. It was very clean, staff was very helpful and professional.
