Nice resort hotel in the North West of Madeira, perfectly located for the natural pools. As an added bonus you get access to unlimited free day passes into the pools that require a paid ticket. The staff were so lovely, friendly and helpful. We had a friend call ahead (unknown to us) to tell them it was our honeymoon and they gave us a free bottle of wine which was a lovely gesture. The restaurant is fantastic ,with gorgeous views and great food. We had a brilliant view over-looking the ocean...

Me and my husband have stayed there for 4 nights and I can't say a single bad word about the hotel. The room was amazing, stuff very nice (we even got a packed breakfast to take away because we had to leave early!) and the view from the room's balcony is priceless. Highly recommended.

This place was incredible! Room was amazing - so spacious and comfy. Loved the bath robes! We used all 3 of the hotel’s spas with roof top hot tubs, swimming pool and sauna. Breakfast was amazing. Couldn’t recommend this place more!

Facilities were great with little touches like sweets on the pillow. Room had clear damage/marks on the walls not repaired and the service was mostly average with one breakfast at the buffet were we didn’t get seen to at all and had find servers ourselves. Hotel facilities and options were great.

Lovely quiet hotel

Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Hotel in general very clean. Will stay again!

We found some guests felt isolated, but a bit of effort with a taxi or the local busses take you to some fantastic levada walks nearby. We had a hire car and explored the mountains in the morning and came back for swimming and sun in the afternoon. Dining was five star and the staff brighten the place up with their courtesy and helpfulness.

Great spot for visiting Madeira, lovely and tucked away in the mountains with local shops and restaurants near by. Funchal only 28 mins car journey away. Room was super clean, air conditioned, great bathroom, fridge, owner was always on hand to help if any issues.

This small hotel is on the North of the Madeira which is much quieter and unspoiled than the Funchal side. It is in a wonderful location with stunning views of the mountains and sea and as it is a bit cooler after dark the staff light a real fire which was very romantic. One downside is its a bit out of the way so you do need to hire a car if you want to stay here.

Theresa our host was so helpful. She stayed late for our late arrival. Her cooking is lovely if you want a meal in. Beautiful views of the sea from balcony. A much quieter but more beautiful part of the island than Funchal.

Peaceful, calm, excellent Service. The staff at the hotel including the owners are amazing. Super friendly, happy to help and very accommodating. Very clean rooms. We had the apartment as there were 4 of us and it was comfortable, great size. The garden with fresh fruit and vegetables was amazing. The pool and pool area was extremely clean. Always room for us and always plenty of clean towels. Rooms were cleaned and organised daily which was nice. Out of the way of any of the towns but only a...

Had a nice warm welcome followed by a clean, fresh and spacious double-bed room - six comfy nights sleep-lovely mattress support. Buffet breakfast was just the ticket after a quick early morning work out in their 2nd floor gym (Buffet choice: Drinks, Fruits, fried full breakfasts, cold meats, cheese & soft fresh bread, etc). Lounge an afternoon away on the sun rooftop beds (4 pairs) with shaded side-seating for the sun-shy. Just kick back, read a book and relax in peace until the sonic-pleasing...

The staff are courteous and friendly and helpful. If they were unable to help directly they could always advise where you might get the help you needed. We enjoyed our stay but did find a big disadvantage that as it was 3-4 miles inland from the express way on very difficult roads you didn't want to go into the town after dark. This meant that you ate in the hotel every night. The restaurant menu was very good although it was the same every night so you eventually ran out of choice. After...

Stunning views, gorgeous sauna, and lovely outdoor pool. Would recommend a car for exploring!

This is a fabulous little hotel. A real gem. Great location, lovely room with balcony & stunning view (we stayed in the Ocean View Suite), delightful & friendly staff (Telma, Nicole & Raquel deserve a special mention), delicious breakfast (& dinner if required) and all spotlessly clean and well maintained. Access to the hotel is typical Madeiran - via a steep & narrow road - & parking can be a bit tricky, but all this adds to the experience. I cannot rate this hotel more highly, and it is...

Great stay, quiet and very pleasant hotel. Clean rooms, nice environment, kind and helpful staff.

Amazing Hotel with Fantastic Staff in an Amazing Location. 10/10
