"We booked the Kimpton Monaco for 3 nighta for a family wedding. Everything was expensive but your paying for the location. Right next door is independence hall and the liberty bell. If your visiting this area for these attractions then great place to stay. If not its disappointing if you like 5 star hotels. We have stayed at the kimpton in Miami and this was nowhere near their level of a luxury 5 star hotel. Elevators were small and took too long"

"This hotel was modern and stylish with a location right in downtown Philadelphia. It is a short 3-block walk to Reading Terminal market and a 6-block walk to the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall. The hotel had interesting artwork throughout and was modern. The rooms are decently sized with Nespresso coffee makers in each and our room had a large bathroom and walk-in shower. The gym was modest but clean. There is a nice bar and restaurant on the first floor."
