"We had a wonderful 6-day stay at LUX* Grand Gaube, and what stood out most was the exceptional level of service. The staff were consistently respectful, attentive and genuinely willing to go beyond what was expected to make our stay special. The resort manager made a huge difference to our experience. We had an issue with our booking on arrival, but he did far more than simply resolve it. He made sure throughout our stay that we felt looked after and valued, including arranging a beautiful exclusive dinner on the beach. The food was another highlight. Over six days, the menus never felt repetitive and there was always something new to try. Unlike many all-inclusive resorts where food is simply left out in large trays, there was a chef at almost every counter ensuring dishes were fresh, hot and properly presented. The chefs were also incredibly accommodating and often offered to prepare food outside the menu, while the bar staff happily tailored drinks to our tastes. The all-inclusive offering was very extensive, with around 80–90% of the menu being part of the inclusion. There were also many thoughtful touches throughout the resort, such as free sunscreen stations, brushes to remove sand after the beach, and beautifully designed Instagrammable spots. Despite a difficult start with the booking, the way the wider team handled everything turned our stay into a genuinely memorable experience. Highly recommended and must visit."

"Lagoon Attitude was an exceptional stay\. We spent eight days here and couldn’t believe it was a four\-star hotel\. We’ve stayed in five\-star hotels that didn’t match its service, attention to detail or luxury\. Our ground\-floor room was spotless, beautifully designed and had a gorgeous sea view overlooking the boathouse\. The hammock was a lovely touch, and I recommend requesting a ground\-floor room\. Special thanks to Kaveesh, the manager, who was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay\. The food was outstanding\. Highlights included the parrotfish at Coral, tempura prawns at Lemongrass and chicken at Kot Nou\. The Taba J food carts were fantastic, while Benitier offered plenty of choice, excellent quality and occasional live music\. The staff were wonderful\. Thank you to Hanna at Seabreeze Bar, Neel at Wave Bar and the entire Taba J team for making us feel so welcome\. We loved the hotel’s commitment to sustainability, including water refill stations, reef\-friendly sunscreen, reduced single\-use plastic and excellent vegetarian and vegan choices\. The boathouse offers snorkelling, glass\-bottom boat trips, kayaks, pedalos, windsurfing and paddleboarding, so book activities early\. The lagoon is beautiful, warm and calm\. The Marine Discovery Centre is well worth visiting, and the three resort areas offer something for everyone\. The Mauritian Gala Night was a highlight\."

"Incredible adult only resort built around the most beautiful lagoon. The calm and relaxing environment sets the scene where quiet becomes the norm. Food is sensational with 30% of all menus being plant based. Food preparation is nothing short of Michelin quality with service to match. Rooms are spacious large bathrooms, comfortable king sized bed and perfect temperature controls."

"Clean and vey spacious room. It gets well cleaned every day with new towels and sheets. Tje pool is very nice - we spent time on it every day. Would totally recommend!"
