Very friendly check in at the hotel - gave us a full tour and showed us the key features in the room. Excellent club lounge with drinks and nibbles during happy hour. Comfortable and well maintained.

Great location, helpful and friendly staff. We arrived very really and they had us in a room 3 hours early. Staff were very knowledgeable and gave us some great tips for what to see and how to get about.

Perfect spot, very central, staff are great, car parking available. Included breakfast was fab, both continental and cooked and you have a great view of Table Mountain while you have it. Rooms very comfortable and despite overlooking the car park and piazza, was surprisingly quiet. They had turn down service so we came back after night out to closed curtains, air con on and bottles of water beside the beds, which was a lovely touch.
Only thing I’d say negative is that they didn’t make much of...

Just returned from a fabulous nine day stay at The Commodore in Cape Town, we love this hotel and will shortly be planning to return. This hotel is not the bland corporate mega chain type that we so often see in our cities. This is a hotel with charm and personality. The staff are probably the best we've ever come across, the facilities are tip top, bar and restaurant staff especially greet you like friends. The Commodore is 'old fashioned' in the very best sense, where the customer is king....

Amazing property with amazing staff. Can’t recommend enough. 8 mins walk into camps bay; yes it’s a hill but think of it as your steps for the day plus you get the views of the bay as you drop down. Breakfast really fab plus pool area lovely. 5 stars to all the staff there

Stayed here due to work at CTICC and the Cruise Terminal. Hotel is literally 30 metres from the Conference Centre and only 10 minutes drive to the cruise terminal. Also has a shuttle to the V&A waterfront if you want to shop or see some restaurants. Staff excellent and restaurants and room service were good with varied menus.

Nice location. Close to the V&A waterfront with lits of restaurants and coffee shops within a five minute walk.
Staff were friendly, welcoming and polite.
Room was clean ans spacious with a nice shower room.
Didn't have chance to appreciate the swimming pool hut the breakfast was very nice with a large buffet offered as well as a variety of cooked and made to order breakfasts.

We had a brilliant stay in the hotel. Staff were very helpful, service and food excellent. Having travelled with family, the one suggestion I have is for the hotel to consider allowing children in the indoor pool at least at limited times. I understand that some spa guests would prefer not to have kids running round, but a happy medium could be found. Ours were not the only children in the hotel. That said we enjoyed our short stay here. Being 10 minutes walk from the V&A Waterfront is a...

The hotel is about 20 minutes by uber from the town which was perfect. Right by the beach and also an excellent 30 minute walk along the beach to the nearest town and bars. There is also a good restaurant/bar about 5 minutes round the corner. The hotel itself was brilliant. It is in a quiet residential area, very safe, the staff couldn’t be more helpful and everything was great. The food at breakfast was fantastic, as was the evening meals that we had. The chefs were very good. This was a...
