"Place is ok for what it is but what isn’t ok is the noise, people banging on room doors and running off! Get they do a lot of weddings but that should not be affecting the other guests staying there. Just constant noise, drink people and thud thud thud from music. The spa is inaccessible when a wedding is on due to kids!"

"The property is an old building and we both thought that the rooms could do with a bit of an update - the bathrooms were very modern. The rooms and hotel were spotless, the staff were absolutely superb - so kind, helpful and polite.
It was a lovely idea to have free bottles of water at reception when we arrived with the weather being hot. We thought that the room would benefit from AirCon although we did receive a fan which helped a bit.

"It was a nice enough hotel but I didn’t like the fact that you were charged for everything. The rooms were clean but fairly basically kitted out and for the luxury market they are aiming for they are slightly missing the beat.
The service was ok but a little slow or not quite on the ball. Staff were friendly but temporarily lost an ice pack of mine, forgot my gluten free toast at breakfast and gave me a tiny tiny pot of tea that was half full for breakfast. The breakfast was ok but nowhere near...

"Lovely friendly staff but they didn't seem to know anything. There was no mention about breakfast times and location etc on check in.
We asked about the pool but the staff in the main building didn't know whether it was included or not (it's not).
When searching for a hotel, I specifically selected Air Con as a filter, but what I didn't realise until too late, is the rooms that came up on my search don't have any - fortunately it cooled down the night we were there.
