Clean and restful, convenient charm

Although I booked this thinking it was a different place, lol it was a VERY nice and clean, peaceful, convenient retreat. It was actually a better choice than my original selection, You can walk to most things in town and the cleanliness, and charm and quiet were just what I needed to relax.

Really cute property and rooms. The rooms are small but exceptionally clean and nicely decorated. Pretty grounds with a pool, fire pit, hammocks and yard games available. Easy walking distance to a few restaurants. Staff was very pleasant.

It’s a locally owned Motel, (close to the water), so The front office closes at 5. When I booked thru Expedia, i got a message from the hotel asking when I planned to arrive — which was late. They called me & let me know which room was mine & how to get in my room. a real easy going call. The rooms were updated over the winter & it shows! Super charming & clean! And I’ll be honest, some of the most comfortable hotel/motel beds I’ve ever slept in. And, this might be a weird detail, but it was also the nicest in-room coffee pod station I’ve seen. brand new white keurig, & compostable K-cups.

If you have the sentimental mindset to enjoy a 1960's side-by-side room motel, you'll love the care they've taken with the Mariners Motel. Good sheets, eco-Keurig coffee, BIG tv, towels on every rack and shelf, plus an extra charging station in the drawer to make use of the old days of fewer plugs. Throw in a full restaurant crab shack and deck within sight and a sunset or two. It's all here.

Comfortable and convenient

Very nice motel in a very convenient location with short walk to marina and short ride to restaurant. Unfortunately, the recommended restaurant within walking distance was closed during our stay. Comfortable and quiet. (A microwave would have been handy but not essential.)

Quick Getaway Trip

This is a basic motel that is very well kept up and clean, and the service is wonderful. It is a short walk to Waterman's restaurant, and is right at the Rock Hall harbor.

Lovely old style roadside motel across the street from the Chesapeake Bay.We so enjoyed strolling the waterfront of Rock Hall and taking in the sunset. Loved the parking in front of our room,the windows with screens that could be opened,the plaid bedding, the mariner lamp,so cute! Very clean and well kept motel that allows dogs, a major selling point for us.
