"Super hotel"

"Excellent location. Delicious breakfast. Great hotel."

"Great staff"

"The owner was awesome and very helpful. It was a delight to share some historical aanecdote also with him. The property is a piece of history and a mini museum Probably the best place to stay in the city"

"Beautiful hotel with excellent location. However, the website needs to clarify there is no elevator. There are four stories. Older or handicap will not be able to manage. The hotel has nobody to help. There are two rooms on first floor but you will not know to book them because the website does not not make this clear."

"Nice staff and clean room"

"Great location and nice hotel"

"Great breakfast. Comfortable and clean rooms. Excellent restaurant. So much history! Built in the Middle Ages and the historical feel has been preserved, while keeping the amenities modern and functional"

"Tolle Lage! Wunderschöne Innenausstattung und liebevolle Gestaltung des Hauses! Die Badewanne(n) sind ein absolutes Highlight! Abzüge gibt es lediglich für die durch das Alter des Gebäudes bedingte und daher nicht änderbare Hellhörigkeit des Hauses sowie den viel zu lauten und schlecht kühlenden Klein-Kühlschrank."

"Great location, clean and owner very helpful. We didn’t like the check in process. No desk or human to check in. All done on screen. If you had an issue, you have to call."

"Owner/manager working hard at renovating the property. Location is great. Room and bath great. Steps to rooms need renovation. Cafe front being redone. Breakfast OK. Eggs excellent. Made to order. Spread as small compared to other places. But adequate. Coffee machine not working. All in all a good value. Keep up the effort."

"Tolle Lage"

"Fabulous historic property in the middle of the village. Room was spacious and had all the basics. Staff was very nice too."

"Unexpected lovely rooms above a grocer. Breakfast was very nice. Location was ideal, within the city walls."

"My room was confirmed on expedia, however when I called the owner, first of all, it was the incorrect number that they posted on Expedia (It was the restaurant number at the Hotel and they were not willing to find the correct number for me) Secondly, the owner called me back on what's app, and said he cancelled my reservation because the amount I paid on Expedia was not enough. It was not cancelled on the Expedia app. This is unacceptable and caused me a great amount of stress because I had...

"Susan and her family have a wonderful guest house. It was clean, she was so kind, Breakfast was great and we had everything we needed in our 3 rooms that we had. Located conveniently close to everything, including both the central part of the city and the outer wall. We would definitely stay here again if we were to come back, and would reccomend it to others as well!"
