"The property had friendly and professional staff. The hotel was clean and updated. The breakfast was good. We travelled to the area for a concert at UVA. I was concerned about the distance of the hotel from the venue, but it was an easy drive and had several exits in between with plenty of restaurant and shopping options. I would definitely stay here again."

"Super clean, great room, one of the best places I have stayed. It was however quite loud. Sound carried through the walls and ceilings and from across the street. The hotel does supply earbuds, a white noise machine, and a record player with an amazing selection of records. Hotel is well located and can be walked to from anywhere downtown. Lots of good food in the area as well!"

"I always have great experiences at Holiday *nn Express. Room was clean and well maintained. Staff was super nice and accommodating. They got us a portable crib for my 3 month old which was really awesome. Break was great. No smoking allowed on the property. I will only stay at Holiday inn Express from now on."

"This hotel is fantastic! Gorgeous design, super friendly staff, perfect location, and great connection to the uva community. The rooms were well appointed with super soft robes and towels. The staff went above and beyond to greet us. We also ate at the main restaurant Poplar and the food, decor and service was perfect! I’m excited to continue to visit this fantastic addition to the uva community!"

From checking in with the host, to the quaint and well kept room, to the fabulous location and of course the incredible breakfast - everything was wonderful. "The room was clean, tidy, and stocked. The overall ambiance was unique and inviting. Parking was easy and convenient. The breakfast was hot, with a variety of options. The coffee cups were too small, but going back for a refill is a simple solution. My only complaint is the lack of power outlets in the common areas. From outside to inside, the style and decor were pretty cool to make the stay more of an experience than simply a place to sleep. "
