"Service is a bit slow - I suppose that is Island style .. "

"The grounds are stunningly beautiful. Almost worth 10/10 in itself but a couple of things are below par. The pool area is neglected and needs some investment, eg new lounger cushions that can withstand the rain. The food is hit and miss. Breakfast generally very good but a bit chaotic. It really lacks attention to detail by some experienced food and beverage eyes! Although they reply to all ratings it seems to me no actions have been taken regarding some complaints. Eg I still got plastic straws!"

"This is more a review of the host as the Binks apartment location had some issue according to the host and so I stayed at an alternate location provided by the host. Upon arrival to Roseau and having access to Wifi I was made aware of alternate arrangements. The host picked me up and took me to the other location in Warner which was quite far from the main areas. However it was a large house with a garden and beautiful view so was an upgrade. I decided to explore around there for a day and then the host was able to provide an different alternate apartment in the city instead, once he understood my need for acess to buses as i was walking and had no car. Which worked out well for getting around. The whole experience worked to my favour as I was able to experience more of the island this way. But it was a bit more complicated than expected however the host was very accommodating."

"Parking was ample; ocean view was great, but the room was sub-par. It was clean, but the floor molding had been removed, which made the room look really old; No shampoo/conditioner was provided and no hair dryer. Front staff, when present, was friendly and helpful. Cleaning staff was on top of things. Pool was nice and a good temperature, but they allowed children's swimming lessons there 2-3 days while we were there, so that put a damper on the experience. No restaurant on site, but a good one was next door at an affiliated property."

"Beautiful view"

"The rooms are beautiful! We loved the patio and the view. Gorgeous. The food on the first night was almost inedible: we sent back the mahi mahi (I think that's what it was) because it was so rock hard/overcooked that it wouldn't chew down. We then ordered the pizza: the dough was so soft and uncooked that we just ate the toppings. We then started simply eating away from the place. On our final night, though, they were doing a barbecue and it was absolutely fantastic. We wonder if we just had a bad dining night. The other thing that happened was that my 82-year-old mother and myself were walking down from our cabin and one of the hotel staff, driving a golf cart, actually honked at us to get out of his way as he sped past us. My poor mother jumped into the drainage ditch, and nearly lost her balance. When we brought it up to management, they knew exactly who it was, which kind of bothered me because they knew he was a risk already. They offered us nothing, no drink, no note from the manager, nothing. In the end, we did love our stay. "

"The ocean was beautifully visible. We didn't use the pool. The cleaning service was almost non-existent, they were unable to get the WiFi working for the last two days, and for breakfast they offered us a bowl of fresh fruit, two eggs, toast, and bacon, which they charged us for at the end because it wasn't part of the continental breakfast. We constantly had to push them to do things and remind them! The furnishings were quite worn out. My rating – I do not recommend it."
