The space feels like it's own tiny apartment with a winding center staircase leading up to a luxurious spa-like bathroom, perfect for getting ready in the morning and relaxing at night! The staff was kind and helpful, our only regret was not being able to stay on property longer, we will definitely be coming back to try the famous French Toast at breakfast!"

"The Reluctant Panther was a cut above the other inns that I have stayed at. On check in, we were walked to our room and shown where everything was. The room was very large and comfortable. There was a nice seating area in front of a fireplace. We chose to eat dinner at the restaurant in the hotel and had a truly excellent meal and excellent service. Breakfast is served in a basket that can be picked up in the dining room or delivered to your room. All in all, our stay was exceptional. "

"Clean..convenient location. Only complaint is AC going on and off constantly throughout the night..noisier than normal."

"The floor between the bathroom and the bedroom had huge holes in it, which was dangerous; the bathtub still had soap residue, making it slippery; and the king-sized bed was so worn out that my entire side sagged toward the floor.
