"Loved the hotel . Amazing location . Would have liked it if they had coffee in the morning for the guests . Walkable to all restaurants. Easy to walk to pick up locations for tours . Clean . Nice bathroom . Our room was not air conditioned but they had a fan . With the window open it was cool at night ."
"Stayed here with my son on a trip to visit D Day beaches, the hotel is perfectly located for this. Staff were super welcoming and helpful across the hotel and super patient as I practiced my very rusty French! The grounds are beautiful and peaceful and the room very spacious, comfortable and clean. We used the pool once which was fine. We ate in the restaurant, food was excellent and they were able to adapt dishes for me to be gluten free. Only very small gripe was that in our ground floor room when the people in the room above used their bathroom, the sound of the water in the pipes disturbed me but I am a light sleeper so am sure this wouldn’t be an issue for many others."
"The location of the hotel was perfect. It was right in the middle of the main street with lots of dining options nearby. The hotel was also quiet and had a spacious breakfast area. We enjoyed the World War II artifacts throughout the hotel. It was like a mini museum in the hotel. There was also a little grocery store right next-door, which was handy for getting water bottles and snacks. The hotel also offered a shuttle to Mont Saint Michel and the meeting place for our World War II tour was just around the corner from the hotel. It was about a 10 minute flat walk from the train station."
"The staff were wonderful! Everyone spoke English, which made it easy to understand their helpful hints and directions to attractions. The breakfast was great, the bar was excellent and they made us a charcuterie board for dinner when we were too tired to go out after our long tour. If you are looking for a place to stay in Bayeux or anywhere near the D-Day beaches, I highly recommend this hotel."
"Clean rooms, clean property. Easy access to things. The staff was very helpful and we even left something in the room and they contacted us to let us know we forgot it. Most hotels don’t care if you leave something behind. Would definitely stay here again."
