"Wow - we were blown away by this feast for the eyes! I fully appreciate that the decor at the hotel won’t appeal to everyone (art is after all subjective) but, as a photographer myself and with my art loving husband, we found our two night stay here to be a fitting and beautiful end to our three week tour of the North! "St Hildas is a lovely place to stay. The reception staff were very helpful and welcoming. The rooms are decorated and equipped to a high standard. I took a gamble and stayed in the Las Vegas room, but fortunately it payed off and I feel like a winner!"

"We loved our short stay at the Captain Cook Inn! They took care of all five of us for one night, and knowing that we had to leave very early the following day, they prepared breakfast to-go for us for our journey back to Newcastle. Too kind and so thoughtful! "

"Cameron (owner) was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable of the local area, he also prepared a great breakfast. Our room was on the top floor, a comfortable and decent size room and large bathroom, it also had sea views across the harbour Our visit was for a birthday celebration, we were given a card and a bottle of Prosecco in our room which was a nice touch and much appreciated.
