We have stayed here quite a few times and always enjoy it. This time was a bit of a disappointment. We had booked a double queen room. I was called when our room was available and told that the hotel was overbooked and we would have to stay in a double full. By the way, we had tried to check in very early, so I’m not sure why we were given a different room than we booked. When I questioned it, I was told our $45 parking would be comped, so I said ok. It turned out the room was MUCH smaller than what we are used to. There was no full size mirror, only a small vanity in the bathroom, and not much space in the room itself. The room we had booked is much bigger. Upon checkout, I was told that I would be given the receipt for parking. I told the front desk person that parking was supposed to be comped. She said that she forgot. She was the one who told us that and she just didn’t do it. She had to go in and refund the parking. It will not be a huge deal in the end, but overall the experience was not at all what we have been used to in the past.
