We didn't linger in San Casciano itself, as we were there for a family wedding at a nearby chateau, but it looked interesting as we passed through it.






Though Il Serraglio may not have many top sights, you can venture to the surrounding area to see attractions like Antinori nel Chianti Classico and Monastary of Sorelle Clarisse.

Check in was easy. Staff were polite. The hotel offers many amenities such as a pool, laundry room, spa, and gym (for a fee). The hotel was a 13 minute walk to the Cathedral. The staff was extremely helpful. Much appreciated. The location was great, right across from the Central Station, so convenient. I would, for sure, recommend this hotel for visiting Florence
