Everything was excellent. I didn't get the name of the gentleman at the front desk, but he was awesome. The room was clean, location was walking distance to gaslamp, parking was easy and well priced. I would stay here again without question

Quiet hotel, lots of beautiful flowers, gas town and balboa park within a nice walking distance (we like walking)..unfortunately a bit sketchy to walk at night. Great hosts, breakfast line up and long waits for refills on eggs, coffee etc, but seemed to be fully booked and all had good humour.

Easy walk to Balboa Park and the Pier from here. Public transport is just a few blocks away, if you prefer. Lots of dining options, you are close to both Little Italy and Gaslamp District. The hotel staff were great, the room was clean and beds comfy. No pool, but the rooftop patio was lovely! Note that you are downtown and with that location comes a resident homeless population. They were quite harmless, just going about their business, and were not threatening at all.
