The best part is the location didn’t care too much for my room the light from the outside comes right through the window shines in your face. Don’t have phone charging station outlets in room for just regular cable. Shower curtain wrong size , shower water kept coming out. But the staff was great .

The motel is super cute, great location on the beach. They have some great amenities- supplies for the beach, lots of towels, etc. The rooms are cute and have been re-done. It would be really nice if they had a microwave! Somehow my room wasn't cleaned in my stay (it was only 2 nights but I asked for a refresh in between). I checked in during the day and it still wasn't done which was a bummer- but my bigger issue is when I went down to tell the front desk person that the cleaner never came he really didn't care. He didn't offer to help, or anything to make it up. I paid a pretty solid price as I stayed Labor Day weekend and I ended up getting a broom and cleaning supplies to clean the room and take out the trash myself, which isn't what I am going for when I pay for a stay. I have no doubt the cleaner works super hard, and I get that it was probably just an oversight but it put a sour taste in my mouth for the stay. Also, parking is $40 a night and is included for other similar hotels nearby (that also have microwaves!).

The location was great. The beach and boardwalk were outside our door. I felt safe. The hotel offered towels and chairs to use at the beach. My husband and I had a great time. There is a variety of restaurants and coffee shops close by. We do not need to rent a car. We used Lyft for transportation to other point of interests and airport.

Pacific View Inn was a very clean hotel in a great location! Staff was friendly and there were beach towels and beach chairs to use which was very nice. Our room (104) was maybe the worst room on the property because our door was at the base of the entrance to the upstairs of the hotel, so it was very noisy and lacked privacy due to its location next to the outside sidewalk. Also, the room above us had creaking floors which was another reason our room was noisy. Upon check-in, I mentioned to the staff that I wanted to switch rooms if possible and they said we could see if anyone checked out the next morning, but we chose not to since we were all settled in. Moving wasn’t worth the hassle at the time, but in retrospect, I would’ve definitely changed rooms if I had it to do over again. I’m not a complainer:) In general, it’s worth mentioning that our room could have been more quiet if other guests were more courteous and conscientious in the surroundings both when entering the upstairs as well as being more quiet above us, but people just don’t seem to think that way these days- I’m not old. Parking was a challenge, but we opted to pay for one of 4 dedicated reserve hotel parking spots, otherwise it would have been stressful. I would definitely stay at Pacific View Inn again, but only in a room upstairs that has an ocean view. I loved the central location and being able to walk to many restaurants and shops! It was a nice, affordable and clean air conditioned hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay! The location was great and within walking distance of everything we wanted to do. Beach access was super easy. The hotel had chairs and umbrellas for us. The parking was challenging during the day, but by the evening time, there were plenty of spots available. Overall, we had a great experience. we’re definitely stay here again..

Pros: GREAT Location! Right on the beach. Employees were very nice. Beach chairs to borrow. Cons: Needs some TLC and better houskeeping. My floor was filthy. Spilled some water and when I went to wipe it up, I found out how dirty the floor was. Did the wet the paper towel foot mop trick to make it acceptable. Would consider staying there again, but only for the location.

Different location than we typically stay but turned out to be the perfect location. Staff were friendly and tentative to our needs. We did have a smishap where, well cleaning to room, they got bleach on a newly purchased sweatshirt. Currently trying to iron out with Expedia-which has been the only pain. Other than that- great staff. Great location.
