I wanted to share some quick feedback from our recent stay. While we enjoyed many parts of our visit, there were a couple of things that stood out — both positive and not-so-great.
When I went to the front desk to ask about an email I received regarding a complimentary bike rental, one of the front desk staff members looked up our room and told the other (in front of me) that “the room hasn’t even been paid.” That felt uncomfortable and a little unprofessional, especially considering we were still checked in and I assumed payment would be processed at checkout.
Also, when we arrived, we noticed the refrigerator in our room was dirty, which was a disappointing way to start our stay.
On a much more positive note, I want to highlight how incredible the bartenders were — they had amazing customer service, were friendly, attentive, and honestly gave us the warm welcome we had hoped for. They went above and beyond and showed the kind of hospitality that leaves a lasting impression. Honestly, they’re the kind of team members who belong at the front desk.
