I absolutely loved my experience at Taketoritei Maruyama as a solo female traveller. I made sure to booked my stay with half board and was given an 11-course kaiseki meal for dinner with a western breakfast. I enjoying tasting new foods which were presented to perfection. Please note to book your stay with food, as previous reviewers experienced problems getting dinner and breakfast when they booked without.
