"Our stay at Octant Douro was easily the highlight of our trip to Portugal. We absolutely loved the hotel’s tranquil and picturesque setting along the Douro River. "The rooms in October has no air conditioning, they turn it off we were on the 20 th floor when you opened the window all you hear was the noise of the cars. We did get a fan for the room but it was very noisy, so room gets to 28 degrees, the gym has no air conditioner as well , so if you are like me and you work out go in the morning. Other wise the gym is a sauna. Breakfast is good , and the rooms are comfortable others then there is no ac."
