Fairy-tale Schwerin Castle rises from its own island, complete with gardens and a museum showcasing royal treasures. Rent a paddleboat on Lake Schwerin or join locals for coffee at Schelfstadt's cafes in the historic old town.
A lovely hotel in a lovely location. The hotel is very well maintained and coping well with the Coronavirus restrictions.
My only negative comment is that the vegetarian options in the restaurant were disappointing. Despite that we do plan to return in the future

Wismar is a friendly, beautiful little town, and wherever we turned people were helpful and happy to make your time special. The Hanse House (in English - don't know why) fits therefore right in: There are the little extras like the modern bicycles for just €15/day, a common / business meeting room with comfy sofas and free tea. Breakfast is standard and absolutely ok, but if you want something romantic and a bit special head to Cafe Glücklich, or for a nightcap around the corner micro - brewery...

Lovely hotel in a very quiet part of Schwerin, about 15 minutes walk from the railway station. Breakfast, although relatively expensive, was superb and well worth the money. Though not something I could manage every day.
They have a very nice selection of wine and it would have been nice to have a bar area to enjoy these without going into the restaurant.

Great hotel in great location. Very helpful man checked us in. Spotless big comfortable room. Enjoyed a nice meal in the restaurant, good selection of vegetarian and vegan meals as well as fish and meat courses. Would stay here again.
