"Miguel was a perfect host, he had a fire going in the wood stove in our room as it was chilly out. He designed and oversaw the renovations made to his families home, and his attention to detail made our upstairs suite and the entire house very comfortable. "This was one of the highlights of our trip to Portugal. Not only the rooms were very comfortable and clean, but the owners made us truly feel at home. We had a lovely dinner in town the night we arrived, and met them at reception for some of their homemade fruit liquor and a lovely chat in front of the fireplace with the whole family. "Luna Chalet are rustic chalets, and I must admit that the unit given to us was very comfortable with great views. Nice bedding, good towels, all dishes and soap needed. The only negative is that they supply the nespresso type machines but with no pods. It would have been nice to have coffee in the morning. A lot of channels on the television also. I strongly recommend the chalet. "

Lovely hotel. Fabulous location.
"Gorgeous hotel in stunning surroundings in the Sera Estrela mountains. Lovely, really helpful staff, comfortable room with stunning view of the mountains and the pool. We only stayed one night en route to Porto so were unable use all the hotel's facilities but it was so nice we almost decided to rearrange our holiday to stay for extra nights. "
