"Breakfast was very good - fresh, constantly refilled, the staff who worked it obviously took pride and was very pleasant every single morning.
Rooms are clean and inviting, well stocked. Beds and bed pillows were comfortable. Ample outlets and USB charging ports at the bedside were much appreciated. Bathroom has a separate vanity outside of the shower and toilet, which is always nice. There was plenty of counter space around the sink. The vanity was well lit.
Two exceptions in the bathroom itself: first is that it lacked towel bars. This may be due to remodeling, and maybe they were missed being reinstalled for the bath towels. Hanging a towel on the hook on the back of the door that is then pushed against the wall does not allow a towel to dry for the next use. The toilet had issues draining for the duration of my stay, and I reported it twice, borrowed a plunger once from housekeeping, they sent someone in to work on it, but it was still slow, so I reported it again at my check out. I suggested that there may be a clog way down in the pipe that needs a good roto rooter attention.
Every staff member I encountered was pleasant and welcoming. I visit this area often and this hotel moved up on my list of preferred places for my lodging."
