"We had an amazing stay at this hotel from the moment that we arrived the staff went out of their way to find ways to help us to enjoy our stay and particularly Aliou and Babou (excuse the spelling).
I would highly recommend this hotel for a short stay in Dakar, but for a longer stay e.g. 4 days+ our room was a bit tight for 3 people. Overall a great experience"
"Overall, Hôtel Fleur de Lys Point E made for a comfortable and pleasant stay, and I would recommend it, particularly for solo travelers. The neighborhood felt safe and navigable, which as a solo traveler matters more than anything else. The room was a highlight, super spacious, with a comfortable bed and a lovely view of the city from above. Waking up to that view every morning was a nice touch. The staff were friendly, helpful, and made the experience feel warm and welcoming throughout my stay. Breakfast was decent nothing extraordinary, but a perfectly fine way to start the day. It's also worth noting that there are several restaurants within walking distance, which is a convenient bonus. Now for the honest part: the location comes with some challenges. The area is heavily trafficked, and for reasons I still can't fully explain drivers have a genuinely difficult time finding the hotel. Whether you're arriving by taxi or rideshare, budget extra time and be prepared to guide your driver. The roads in the immediate area are also not the most pedestrian or driver friendly, so keep that in mind when planning your daily movements.
With a little patience on the logistics, it's a comfortable and safe base for exploring Dakar. I'd recommend."
"This hotel is spectacular in every way. It is an oasis in the middle of a busy area. I stayed in Bungalow 20. There ia a beautiful lush path to get to my room. There is a beautiful outdoor reception. Stunning pool, bar area and restaurant and I was told they just opened a new section of guest rooms ( not bungalows). My room is so well thought out. The attention to detail is magical. I only stayed 2 nights and wish I could have stayed longer. I am a business traveller and it feels so lovely to come back to this hotel after a full day of meetings. I had a delightful cocktail last night ( Botaniko) and great breakfast this morning. It is my 4 th trip to Dakar but my first stay at hotel BOMA. I hope to come back. Staff and service are impeccable."
"Staff were very friendly, rooms weren't the nicest but they all have incredible ocean view. Restaurant was reasonably priced and delicious. Overall great experience"
