Great location, close to station, convenience stores and restaurants. The big plus was that the air conditioning was available usually they turn it off as the cooler weather nears, is was unusually warm this year so they was a big plus for us.

the hotel is super close to JR shizuoka station. the room is clean and the officers are nice. no wardrobe in the room is only the drawback. surely stay at sun palace again if i return to shizuoka!!

Hotel is about 2 blocks away from the station south exit which is quieter than the other side of the station. Staff and breakfast are good. A used slipper is found underneath the bed.

Conveniently located close to the train station with lots of food options nearby unless you’re looking for late night food then the options go down significantly. Hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. Our main issue is that the bed frame/mattress were SO loud. I mean even if you just walked past the bed and barely touched it, it would make a horrible loud sound. Let alone when you’re dead asleep and need to roll over. Wakes you up every time. Second concern was with how squeaky the bathroom floor and tub were. Definitely an older hotel. The cleaning of the room could’ve been an higher priority.

A clean nice place

The overall experience is a very clean and nice place to spend a few nights. Its affordable and the location is great. I wish they have more comfortable pillows, western style. Other than that, its just a small room with everything you need. If you're on budget travel, this place is good.
