"Truly remarkable experience in an 800 year old castle. The grounds are beautiful and include olive trees on the farm. Great views. Quaint experience with the owners who run the castle as a bed and breakfast. Our suite easily accommodated our family of five. We are grateful for the intimate breakfast the following morning. "There is a big gap between what appears on the website and the reality, getting to the room is very difficult. (Requires traveling by car on an unpaved road) The living conditions are not comfortable at all. Very small shower. There are no air conditioners in the rooms. Dark and unlit rooms. The kitchen is very small and uncomfortable. A small office refrigerator is not enough for the contents of the whole family (perhaps for two people) cleanliness at a very low level. "Très bel accueil, très bel environnement et très bel appartement. Idéalement situé en Toscane pour visiter: San Gimignano, Montalcino, Muntepulciano et évidemment Sienne. Tout ça avec la possibilité de se reposer et de profiter du magnifique terrain de la propriété. Nous espérons y retourner un jour!"

Auch das Frühstück ist zu empfehlen- eine tolle Auswahl an lokaler Speisen nach dem Motto so viel wie möglich, so wenig wie möglich. Aber wenn man etwas benötigt, kann man jederzeit danach fragen. In einer Welt wo alles im Überfluss vorhanden ist, finde ich das sehr gut! Auch die Weintour ist zu empfehlen. "

"Mooi omgeving, fenomenale uitzichten. We sliepen in de Tiziano, mooi ruime kamer (gezin met 3). Lekker basis ontbijt, personeel was ook heel behulpzaam. Dicht bij Siena… Enige minpunten: Was de belachelijk meerprijs 50€ per nacht voor een mobiele plooibed waar je eigenlijk geen kind meer van 12 jaar kan laten inslapen. Door een storm/onweer is alles weggewaaid en vuil geworden , alles werd netjes opgeruimd. Behalve het zwembad zat vol met slijk/bladeren en daar hebben we 2 dagen moeten in...

Visitors (esp Americans) should know the owners speak little to no English, so come with your google translate or try and learn a little Italian prior. "Struttura ben organizzata, pulita e con un’ottima posizione, il nostro appartamentino era molto spazioso e luminoso, ottimo anche il servizio self check-in La struttura risulta poi ben insonorizzata ed è dotata di tutti i comfort, al suo esterno è presente qualche ristorante, bar e supermercato raggiungibili a piedi Lo staff è gentile e disponibile, ci ha dato consigli utili e importanti Sicuramente ci torneremo!"

"La Terrassa is great! The location and view over Il Campo in Siena is simply spectacular. The welcome from host Viola is brilliant (so many hotels could learn from her skills and warmth). The Suite is huge, feels like your own apartment. Breakfast snacks and lots of drinks provided. Highly recommended! "
