"Rustic cabin had everything I needed - comfy bed, full kitchen, and heat. Because it was a bit chilly, I didn't get to use the patio or grill, but looks like it would have been nice to sit and enjoy with privacy. There were paths to walk along the river. I would definitely come back to check out the little town, but also to continue the amazing and scenic hiking a short drive away. The PCT crosses right through the ares! Also, very dog-friendly. "

"Beautiful condo in great location near Tahoe City. Plenty of room for 5 people. Comfortable bedrooms and living areas. Clean, well-functioning bathrooms. Great kitchen stocked with cooking equipment and some food including spices, teas, etc. Responsive contacts by phone or text. Two downsides--traffic noise from Rt 28 and malfunctioning refrigerator. We followed instructions on it to wait 24 hr from check in to call if not cooling. So we did but a technician did arrive until 24 hr later. ...

"We rented the Alpine Manor Retreat for my daughter’s ski birthday weekend. This place is great. Great location. Easy to get to Alpine, Pallisades, Tahoe City or Truckee. Clean. We always like that when we walk in. Responsive communication system. Door code didn’t work at first, but was fixed in less than 5 minutes. "
