"This was a lovely stay in a beautiful location with access to boat rides and steam train. From here we visited Keswick, Ambleside and other towns in the Lake District including a must visit to Beatrix Potter’s house Hilltop. The hotel itself does feel a bit dated. The hotel room lacks the usual facilities ..."

"The hotel itself is great, with the dining area being beautiful & view great. You are paying for the view. The room was nice but for some unknown reason they put heating on at the height of summer. The window only opens less then a crack. Whist we did get provided with a fan the room was still red ..."
