"It was dark, the side door light bulb was burned, there was no assistance with suitcases, the bathroom smelled terrible and there was no hot water - we were told to wait 30 min and it finally came at 10 pm. The breakfast was cold, the corridors dark. There was not even one spot for handicapped parking, the parking lot was very dark. We asked for room with shower but still got a tub. This is a very dated and basic hotel and does not deserve 3 stars. I gave two stars instead of one just for...
"The breakfast was very impressive."
Tsikeli Boutique Hotel Meteora - Adults Friendly
Tsikeli Boutique Hotel Meteora - Adults Friendly"Hotel is very nice, clean, with very polite and helpful staff. It is very close (5-10 min drive) to all monasteries, so it has perfect location. Breakfast buffet is great with variety of options to choose from. Parking on the street is in general available but may be challenging if you have bigger car. There are several dinner options within walking distance in local taverns as well as nice restaurant at the hotel."
San Giorgio Villa
San Giorgio Villa"Location was excellent. For budget accomodation it offered a lot, it was clean and way above basic standard. A car would have been very helpful, however we were still able to access food and shops on foot. Staff were helpful . Would stay there again."

Guesthouse Kastelia
Guesthouse Kastelia"This is almost like an apartment because there is a shared courtyard, but otherwise we had our own room with bathroom and kitchenette. It has good views of the stones from the courtyard, but the hotel faces the mountains. This was not a problem! There is lots to eat in the local area, including a cafe at the bottom of the immediate hill for breakfast. The taverna at the bottom was our favourite for meals, and there is another one with a garden view that was good for whiling away a few hours...
Guesthouse Arsenis
Guesthouse Arsenis"This is a very unique property. It has a rather monastic feel. Very sparse and simple furnishings, quality of mattress, bed linens, pillows, towels were exceptionally clean crisp and simply great. Bathroom was small but effective. Cannot wait to go back and will reger this place to anyone thinking about visiting magical Meteora."
