"My friends and spent 10 nights in Iceland and this was honestly the only unpleasant stay. The bathroom was not clean — there was visibly hair from previous guests on the wall in the shower. The dining table and kitchen countertops also had to be wiped down. The host was also unkind to deal with, with was disappointing. Though the view is beautiful and the beds were fine, it was overall not an accommodation I’d recommend."

"The view from here is absolutely stunning. From the volcanic cliffs out the bathroom window to the North Atlantic Ocean in front you. Not to mention the full view of Mt Stepafell. Break was fantastic and the coffee was top notch."

"The room was comfortable, clean and the property has amazing views. We had our own bathroom, which is rare with these budget hostels in Iceland. So that was a big plus. HOWEVER, our twin beds were pushed together, with shared bed-sheets, so we didn't have the option to separate the beds. The staff never responded to any of our messages (asking for another set of bed-sheets). The kitchen had a coffee machine, but no coffee, which was a surprise (all other hostels had some basic tea and coffee...
