"If you are looking for luxury in Santorini, this is the place! This hotel provides a luxury resort feel and is absolutely beautiful! They have several pools and bars throughout.
The location is close to several desirable cities, my suggestion is to rent a 4-wheeler to get around, that definitely made our experience worth wild and allowed us to travel freely and enjoy the views.
I only have one small complaint… my husband and I were celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary, and I had reached out to the Hotel in advance to let them know how monumental this particular vacation was for us. They immediately responded with excitement, and assured me that they had noted this occasion. To my surprise, when we entered our room there wasn’t anything in our room or even an acknowledgment from the front desk staff of our anniversary. This was disappointing especially since we had just arrived from Iriana Suites (in Fira) where they made everything a celebration! I feel Cresantos dropped the ball in this area.
Afterwards, I did mention it to the Lady at the front desk, and she looked at me with a blank stare; less than 30 minutes later a staff member was walking into our room (without knocking) with a bottle of wine, and again no happy anniversary. For me, it’s the small things that make an experience memorable (complimentary drink or breakfast, late checkout, door decorating…any of these small or free gestures) and this is an area that failed in.
