"This hotel is set in the perfect location. It's a 10 minute walk up the hill into Valletta. There is a free shuttle both ways to the center if you can't manage the hill. Wear flat shoes, the stone in Valletta is now so smooth it was very easy to slip and slide in the wrong shoes. You can go on many trips from Vallarta. We used Get your guide - pool is stunning and the beach area is really nice so you can look at the Harbor all day if you went. We loved staying at this hotel, it is very dated and I believe they're going to be renovating it. It would've been nice to have different music being played in the evening at the bar area but it was OK if you were in your 80's. We had breakfast included which was good and ate once at the Tiki restaurant. Didn't try the other options. Bolt was super easy and efficient. Staff were lovely, room old but clean. There is a ferry 10 mins walk from hotel if you want to go over to Sliema for a few hours. I suggest the day trip to Sicily, Gozo Island, hop on bus to Mlina, 3 cities trip and Marsaxlokk fishing village for seafood dinner- the bus goes there for €2 . We could not have picked a better hotel for the kind of trip we had planned. Looking forward to going back there when it is renovated. Highly Recommend!"

"My experience in this hotel is amazing, everything is perfect from the place itself to the staff. The pool and garden are beautiful. However, the breakfast foods didn’t suit me, maybe because I’m asian. And I did experience issue when doing the check out, I did try call to the reception multiple times to ask if someone could come to help me with the luggage but no calls were replied, so I ask cleaners ( 2 cleaners, each one I waited for 30 minutes) outside to check this out for me, I was waiting for more than an hour but nobody came. So I had to carry the luggage by myself. This is the only issue I had."

"The reception staff were very polite and friendly. The breakfast was very good . Lots of choice and well stocked at all times. The swimming pool was very clean at all times and the surrounding area was very adequate with some new shade canopies added. The bedrooms were ok. Clean and just served its purpose . Somewhere to sleep and shower. Bit of a mix up when arriving. As I booked for 2 rooms and was told one room was across the road in sister block.As I booked in September I would have thought we would have been together!!!!. Other than that a lovely stay was had by all."

"Arrived at the hotel after hours but that was no problem. We had been sent the key code to enter & our key was left in an envelope with all the room details inside. Very efficient. Room was larger than expected & spotlessly clean. Only complaint was the shower didn't maintain hot water for all of the time. Lovely, secluded location near all the restaurants & the ferry landing to Valletta. Buffet breakfast was exceptional & the 2 staff we met were super friendly & helpful. We could leave our cases in reception til check-out time & there were shower facilities before leaving. Excellent all round!"

"In general all was fine. Had problems with toilet not flushing twice - staff were responsive. Also tv not functioning well but may have been an internet problem. Street side room was noisy. Breakfast was fine/ average. Fair value for money."
