"Clean property. Pool and hot tub were clean and well maintained. (Could use more pool towels.) Staff were friendly. Breakfast was in is own clean room, but it was disappointing. Scrambled eggs were horrible (this was the opinion of the guests at surrounding tables too). Biscuits & gravy was bland, biscuits were hard. No fruit at all."

"This is a unique fabulous property in Del Mar. the location is perfect - perched above the Pacific. The abundant windows and sliding glass doors provide a delightful open light airy feel that captures the coastal vibe perfectly. A unique “Old California” that will not disappoint. I highly recommend this cottage and will definitely come back."

"Pets are allowed on property and had dog barking at night and early morning when trying to sleep. We love dogs, but our dog does not travel with us for this reason. He would not be happy cooped up in hotel room for long hours. We spent almost $200 for one night at this hotel and had poor nights rest and were glad that we only booked. The front desk attendant was not helpful. She gave my husband her managers contact information and will be contacting."
