"The hotel is situated in a fantastic location with great views, the staff are friendly and knowledgeable about what guests expect and they deliver with ease, the rooms are unique and comfortable which complement the amazing views The car park is ample and safe for hotel guests and for restaurant diners our continental breakfast was great and accompanied by a barista coffee, well worth the visit and looking forward to visiting again "

"A truly delightful hotel in a convenient location with excellent staff and facilities. Impossible to fault overall - 2 tips… dont park under the trees in front of the building. I dont know what the birds eat, but they eat A LOT of it. Then theres steps….pack light, you’ll be hauling your luggage up a LOT of steps :-) - its a 13th century manor house, lifts werent a “thing” !"

"Idyllic setting in a peaceful Cotswold village with beautiful gardens and views but still close to other towns and villages. Very nicely furnished bedroom and a fantastic large bathroom. Excellent breakfast. Only slight negative to our room (Pheasant Nest) was some noise from bedroom above (creaky floor and running water). Thoroughly recommended"

"Room very small and stuffy, bathroom, well it was the worst shower ever, had a metal bar screwed to the wall so everytime I tried to wash myself I bashed my arm. Everything I asked for at the bar they hadn’t got or had ran out, what I did get in the end was very overpriced. Breakfast the following morning, no bacon left so had to wait 20 minutes for some more to be done which was undercooked when it came out, there was no drinking water either. "Appreciated the on site parking. As advertised, the hotel is clean and comfortable with convenient access to the bus lines. Be prepared for tight quarters in the room, as there’s not an inch to spare!"
