"We had a great time at this hotel. The rooms were clean the staff was professional and the continental breakfast was actually really good. The environment was just really peaceful and the view is nice. It's a great place to work out even outside because of the water and the walking trail. The lady employee who served the continental breakfast area was amazing and very accommodating. She stood out to me as I watched her help other people so graciously. The guys that worked the desk last night and...

"Housekeeping is a bit of a nightmare. They promise refresh every two days. Didn't happen. Even after making a verbal request at the front desk. No housekeeping. The manager got involved and solved the problem immediately. Kirk, is actually a pretty good manager, and has a lovely front desk staff. In an outdoor mall that's full of shopping and restaurants, but be advised, the whole thing pretty much shuts down at 9. Only a few restaurants remain open, and the hotel breakfast is very weak....

"The breakfast was a nice hot breakfast with biscuits and gravy eggs, sausage, and waffles plus bagels, fruit, yogurt and granola. The staff was very nice and accommodating. AC worked great with our room down to 62 at night! Room was spacious and the King bed was very comfortable"

"I rarely ever leave reviews, but after staying at WoodSpring Suites Houston 288 South Medical Center, I genuinely feel obligated to warn other people before they waste their money here. This was hands down one of the worst hotel experiences I have EVER had, and I travel often. From the moment I walked into the building, the entire place gave unsettling, sketchy, crime-scene vibes. The hallways smelled strange, the atmosphere felt unsafe, and the overall condition of the property looked neglected...
