"Stayed 1 night in a “deluxe” room, the experience started well with the unusual arrival via a short ferry and the drive through the private island, but sadly the luxury experience ended as soon as we had parked up and headed for check-in. Little did we know that the hotel was largely booked out by a huge wedding party, to even get to reception required us to gatecrash through their “private” BBQ held on the lawn in front of hotel. "The welcome at reception was very friendly with plenty of useful advice. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The bar was a pleasure and the breakfast/coffee room was well supplied. Overall, the hotel is a great place to stay and only a ten minute walk to the town centre. Highly recommended."
