A must stay, we stayed here during a tour of the south and out of the five places we stayed this was by far our favourite. It is clean, comfortable with a fantastic location and very warm hosts.

Awesome self contained accomodation near Selfoss!! Great value and brand new!

We had a fantastic time here. The cabin was warm, clean and spacious and private with everything we needed to be self sufficient catering-wise. It was fabulous to be able to just step out on the deck to see the Aurora two nights in a row! We'd highly recommend this fabulous accommodation!

Easy to find and check in was quick. Staff were helpful and friendly. The camping pods were cozy and warm with lovely touches including robes. The shared kitchen and bathrooms were also clean and well equipped.

Had the most amazing stay here. Beautifully appointed cottages with panoramic views surrounding. The cottages are amazing inside, warm, cozy and the most incredible bed. Shower is rainfall, bathroom was well equipt and the communication throughout was amazing! Willl recommend for sure - plus we saw the northern lights which is why we picked this location (along with accessibility to things nearby)

Best location at Vik, directly looking at Dyrhólaey Lighthouse and endless black beach with nothing in between to obstruct the view.. Beautifully designed, well organised apartment , very spacious for our family of 3.. Sofa bed was really fancy and comfy as well. Spotlessly cleaned and lots of storage, we enjoyed our 2 nights thoroughly over here..

Lovely place, clean and quiet with everything you need. View from the rooms to lake is really great. Breakfast included which had a good variety of fresh and even some hot food too!

Very easy to book , good value and excellent communication all the way to check in, very comfortable, clean, modern and spacious with everything you could need. Excellent parking, very easy to find and in a nice quiet location with some great scenery and lots to see close by. Hot tubs are a bonus and are a perfect place to relax in the evening.

We had a lovely stay at Askot Cottages and were sad to leave! The cottage was very cosy and has been very thoughtfully designed. The bed was very comfortable and we loved the gorgeous view from the big window. We were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights twice while we were there! We also appreciated the small touches, with plenty of tea and coffee for our stay, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel provided. This is a unique and lovely hotel in a remote part of the south of Iceland. The rooms have a cabin-feel and there are outdoor hot tubs. Great for exploring the south coast and being rural enough to give you a good chance of seeing the northern lights. Good breakfast where you can help yourself to the buffet and/or order off the menu (only 3 items though - omelettes, fry-up or porridge).
