"Room very quiet and quite large. Bed comfy. Beautiful (looking) fireplace albeit in the 90+ degree category outside ha. But in cooler weather it would have been lovely! Breakfast options there at the hotel's gathering room were pretty decent. Better then some places we have stayed recently (Tucson AZ). All in all pleasant. "

"We enjoyed Golden Eagle. It was quiet, clean, and spacious with lots of room for our suitcases and other stuff. It is an older motel, but updated recently so it's very nice inside. The staff was very friendly. It was also very reasonable in cost. We will be back!"

"I enjoyed that it was located very close to the Durango/Silverton train station that was our reason for coming to the area. Not a huge deal, but was wishing there was a pool/hot tub. Definitely would stay again."

"We loved our stay! The property is in a convenient location and is quiet. The room we stayed in was clearly newly renovated and was super clean. It’s not super cozy, but is spacious and has great beds and pillows. Really everything you need if you’re not planning to hang out in your room. Oh! And there is AC. "
