"Nice room with a whirlpool (that we didn't use) adjoining a nice terrace (that we didn't use because it was so hot outside). Option for a couple of different breakfast times in the little dining room (7 or 8:30) or you could get breakfast delivered at 8am. It was homemade biscuits and an egg bake, which was tasty. If we return to the Okoboji area again some day, we would certainly consider returning."

"My room was super clean. For an older motel it was painted and fresh and new looking and I live parking right in front of my door. The property had baskets of flowers at each door which were stunning. A wonderful touch and the pricing was extremely good considering being the the lakes area of NW Iowa. Will definitely recommend to others and stay again when I'm in the area."

"This hotel is great overall. My only concern was the cleanliness of the room. There appeared to be ketchup or blood stains on the bedding, the walls had residue on them, and the bath tub looked like it had mildew or was just filthy. The beds were extremely comfortable though, and staff was friendly."

"We were terribly disappointed to learn after we arrived that the outdoor pool was closed for repairs. Our main intention was to lounge by and in the outdoor pool. Although we had access to the indoor waterpark it was definitely for kids and young families, not for two senior citizens like us. The hotel did offer a 10% discount which we accepted. Also the hotel clerk didn't bother to tell us that there was parking available much closer to our room which we discovered on our own, and also didn't tell us there was an elevator available to the restaurants on the back side of the hotel. After climbing the very long set of stairs the first time, we discovered the elevator on our own (which was through two sets of doors after going out the backside of our hotel. Otherwise, we enjoyed the stay very much."
