The counter/drssers was dirty, there was food in between the sheets, and stains kn the blanket. I had to buy a cleaning spray and wipe the bathroom and all other areas that could've been tkuched by the children. The place is outdated and in need of an uodate. "We experienced a number of problems with this property. The elevator (there's just one) was out of service, and we were told there were no more ground floor rooms available. The hallway to the staircase smelled terrible, and the floor of the stairwell was very dirty. My husband walking to breakfast several employees talking loudly and one in particular saying crude things that my husband would like to unhear. So inappropriate! We were charged $10 for parking, even though the hotel is not...

The house is beautiful and has a very interesting history that made our stay even more special. Roland, the owner, personally gave us a tour of the property and shared fascinating stories about the house. "When I arrived at the hotel, I was informed that my reservation was canceled. The hotel staff was very helpful in booking me a new reservation and also gave me a discount. The room had a slight odor but seemed to be clean. there was no telephone In the room the landing leading to the room, there were several people sitting out there smoking cigarettes, and the smell was going throughout the property. other than that It wasn't that bad for the price."
