"I have to stay in St Albans for work from time to time and Torrington Hall is my favourite place to stay. It has so much more character than some of the soulless hotels I have stayed at in the area. It is well located for the town center and the cathedral. The rooms are generally well presented although, because each is different, some are nicer than others. "We loved this property. Our room was very comfortable, they let us check in early and the room was very quiet. The shower had excellent pressure and temperature. However: the pillows are too flat. They are so flat, they almost did not exist. I would recommend this hotel to anyone but just know, you might need to use your sweater as a pillow. "

"Perfect location"

"I’m so grateful for this place!! This was the perfect place to stay and for my first time to London by myself I felt so safe there. It was extremely clean, easily accessible, and everything I could’ve needed for a price that worked for me and made a trip to London possible. If you’re a solo traveler this is perfect and a major step above a hostile. "

"We lived our stay at Mason&Fifth Primrose Hill. The are is super cute and convenient, easy to get around and very walkable. The only issue was our bathroom was not working properly and even with maintenance team coming to fix it we still had to keep using the common bathroom close to our room apart from that our room was spacious and had everything else we need it. The staff were attentive, helpful and very friendly. I would stay there again! "

"This was a surprising find. We booked it for a one night layover. It was "off the beaten path" and a bit of a hike from the train station (with luggage). Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff was extremely friendly and hospitable. Dinner and breakfast was very good. The biggest surprise was that the Harrison has an entertainment venue in the basement (comedy the evening we were there). I recommend this place."
