Lot's to do and easy to get to from Edinburgh. lovely beach, lots of history and good dining options. The Aquarium is an excellent family option.






Room was comfortable and clean, staff were kind, courteous and went the extra step to make me feel comfortable, breakfast was lovely

After paying full price for this weekend stay, we found the hotel overrun by guests (with their children and dogs) taking advantage of cheap off season dinner, bed and breakfast deals. Went away for a rest after a bereavement.Total waste of time. Building works going on front and back. Work going on in hotel. Tripping over tools lying around. Bar closed due to maintenance. The rooms at No1 are always amazing: clean, comfortable, aesthetically nice, and very conveniently located.
