"On arrival, the staff was nice, we quickly checked in and went up to our room. The room seemed very clean which we always hold as the most important part of our stay. The breakfast was a pretty typical buffet style with the make your own waffles, sausage and scrambled eggs. It was ok. During our two night stay we had to get the room keys reset twice as they stopped working. We noticed a couple other travelers had similar issues. All in all it was clean, and the air conditioning worked well. It was a bit of a commute to the downtown area but worth the drive with the lower price point of the room."

"This seemed like it may be a classic hotel in St Augustine, so we reserved for our trip. Unfortunately, we realized immediately when we arrived that it was very different than both the photos and Expedia rating portrayed it to be. The odor of fish from the restaurant (not good fish) was extremely overpowering and the surroundings and room were not as they appeared in the photos. Maybe we expected too much, but it wasn't the facilities or atmosphere we expected. We left immediately after check-in. I'm sure it's a great place for some to enjoy, but we were uncomfortable and could not stay here."

"The property is pet friendly and has plenty of grassy areas. However, the grass needed cutting especially in the dog park area. We have stayed at this property in the past before it changed ownership and it met our expectations. This time it did not. Needs updates everywhere, none of the vending machines were working, you could see the outside through a sizable crack in the door, furniture in the rooms need to be updated (old and stained), toilets are very low and the seat was coming off. Last but not least watch out for the new additional fees. Disappointing"
