"The fact that dinner and breakfasts were available on site if you required them. The room I was allocated was quite large - a plus! The staff were helpful and pleasant. Noisy doors opening and closing was a disruption.. Complimentary biscuits would have been nice! "

"Our host was very welcoming. we’d had really good communication prior to coming and so the dietary needs of my daughters were well catered for. Breakfast was delicious with lovely thick Greek yogurt and fresh fruit and warm flaky croissants. Would definitely stay again. "

"The environment offers remarkable tranquility, and I particularly appreciate the serenity of the location. Breakfast was satisfactory; however, the lunch service was less impressive. For individuals unperturbed by potential scrutiny due to their ethnicity, the establishment is adequate, provided one is not overly self-conscious. The hotel itself was acceptable, and the staff were reasonably courteous, although it was evident that they were not accustomed to accommodating Black guests....

Historic property with beautiful lounge area. Excellent parking in safe location. Highly convenient to travel to Liverpool and Birkenhead whilst staying in a rural location. "

"Room was clean. Looked like it had not long been decorated. Staff were friendly both at check in, when my autistic son was extremely tired and at check out. They have an on site cafe, which I didn't use but it smelt good. Services next door included a macdonalds. Will definitely stay again to break up a long journey."

"The rooms were spacious and spotless, staff were amazing with our toddler (they even called the room when we left his dummy in reception and brought it up for us). Nothing was too much trouble. Dinner at the brasserie was fantastic and breakfast was too. Would definitely stay again without the toddler to use the spa!"
