"We have stayed at this property at least annually for last 14 years and this is the first time I have ever been this disappointed. First, I went to fill the bathtub and noticed the outside of the tub had long, black curly hair stuck to it. So I felt like the tub probably wasn't clean enough for a soak. I was a little surprised that the hotel says they are pet-friendly but then charged a $40 a night fee. I figured that was like a security deposit so I let it go. My husband and I were celebrating our 19th wedding anniversary so we had bought a special dog biscuit for our dog to eat when we had our special meal. My dog did get pink frosting on the duvet cover, but that would have easily washed out. If it would not then my dog would also be stained pink and he is not. So I was horrified when I received a call that we were being charged $100 for destroying linens. I still tried to resolve the situation by asking if they had laundered the linens and was told they were ruined. I suggested giving me the linens as if they were now unusable and I would be charged for them, at least I could see that the stains wouldn't come out and would have something for my money. The person calling refused; saying they had already been thrown out. This sounded like a lie as clearly they would have still been on the property as we had only left an hour prior. I will continue to rate this stay on every app I can find and will do a BBB report until I either get the ruined sheets or a refund of the $100"
